Oyin Adekola – O’Caykx

Oyin baked her first cake at age 13 and had her first client at the age of 15. Oyin continued to perfect the art of cake styling through the years. After graduating from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria, she moved to the United Kingdom in 2016 for a post graduate degree in management and eventually settled in Aberdeen. In September 2013, after working as a market analyst with an oil and gas company for 6 years, Oyin decided to resign her job and follow her passion of cake making

Her multi – award winning business, O’Caykx specialises in wedding and celebration cakes. They also run workshops for both children and adults in their purpose-built premise based in Portlethen, Aberdeenshire.

Oyin’s favourite things to do is spend time with her family and play lots of tennis.
